Best Moment In SAR: 6/11/00 SAR Dog Roxanne

alerted on a drowning, dropped buoy. Body was

recovered 2 days later by divers, exactly 12 feet

under buoy.

Worst Moment In SAR: When SAR dog fell off dock

and went swimming in OHIO river, in front of drowning

victims family. They were on river bank/public dock

area as we were loading dogs in boat.

 on a drown victim and the moment of realization it worked! and all the time,

 training , and effort was worth it.

 Worst Moment In SAR:when other search operations refuse to accept that the

 dogs are valuable resources and refuse to use them, making family members

of victims wait for days for recoveries that might have taken hours

Hobbies: I am a gourmet dog chef and own a small home based business called

Buddy Biscuits. We make homemade, all natural, healthy dog biscuit treats

without artificial colors or preservatives. I would like to bring some

"goodies" for our hard working dogs to our SAR meetings like our hostess

usually has some human goodies for us to nibble on, if that's OK (let me

know). I have cheddar cheese biscuits, peanut butter biscuits, vegetarian

biscuits, beef biscuits and various other doggie snacks.

tell, but we're waiting!
